Established in Seattle in 1994, Manastash produces high quality outdoor clothing and gear using environmental-friendly materials. Manastash makes functional outdoor clothing with innovative, low-impact materials. Pertex Eco, a windproof and water-resistant synthetic fabric, is made from 50% recycled fibers. Primaloft Eco is a lightweight, efficient insulator that's also 50% recycled. Panels of ripstop technical hemp fabric are placed strategically under the arms for increased breathability; hemp is thought to be easier on the environment due to its low need for pesticides, fertilizer, and water.
These materials are combined to make extremely functional garments. In addition, the trademark color blocking introduces beautiful, saturated tones into items that are too often solid and drab.
